Shirrel Rhodes isn't the new CEO, at least not yet. He is only a board member. It wouldn't be appropriate for him to make any public statements about REDG, unless he became their official spokesperson.

I would expect a public statement from Benny, until after the Absolute Comics books ship or don't ship.

REDG is in a pretty big hole right now. It's almost too big for them to get out without outside help.
