Just what america needs... the ability for criminals to shoot people and get away undetected if no one hears the shot due to a silencer.

Would be a major assist to poachers, as well, to kill animals out of season and not be heard by game wardens.

Would make the shot detection technology used in cities to determine the location of shootings obsolete. Gotta help those criminals; they are good customers of guns. New York is implementing it, but the criminals will be one step ahead of them with the ammosexual bill pushed by conservatives.
