In my opinion it is retail selling. Knight and E-Trade are used by some big holders. If you notice it's mainly the same 2 underbidding each other.
Or another scenario is it's the same guy with 2 different brokerages and buying and selling his own stock and picking up anything he can shake from weaker holders who get scared out.

That's what makes sense to me.

Just my take on this down trend.
