Eddie has no grasp of what "ground water" is as they were pulling up veggies and tossing them.

Ground water in this area is at a minimum 20-40 feet deep depending,some places 250ft. NO,you shouldn't drink out of a well sunk down into ground water, but growing veggies in four inches of dirt and watering with city water isn't hazardous at all.
