Stunning Defeat???? Mullan came out last spring and said beta amyloid is a dead end. What don't you understand about that?

One thing people need to realize is the "experts" have no idea what beta amyloid does in the body. Not the slightest idea. So some researchers were doing mice studies on MS. They knew that if you injected beta amyloid inside the blood brain barrier, the mice would get worse. They got curious, what if you injected it outside, just into the body. They were shocked when the mice got better. They have no idea why. They don't know what beat amyloid does.

Let's say a guy has stab wounds all over their body. In an attempt to save themselves they put bandaids all over the wounds, but succumb anyway. Later a doctor examining him decides the bandaids killed him, when actually the bandaids had nothing to do with it. At most they maybe slowed down his demise.

For all we know, the only thing beta amyloid has to do with alzheimer's is the body sees a problem and tries to do something, anything at all. Might have nothing at all to do with the cause. So if that is true, is it surprising that all these drugs that reduce or eliminate beta amyloid have no effect on the alzheimer's? In study after study, that's what we've seen.

Now if by chance somebody stumbled on a cure, it in a roundabout way would also reduce or get rid of the beta amyloid wouldn't it? No need to put bandaids on stab wounds if you don't have stab wounds. Mullan last spring was lamenting how they wasted how many years chasing a dead end.
