When most people look around at the world today...all they see is chaos and calamity and tragedies coming their way in all sorts of circumstances and maybe life altering events...and then you add their own daily problems and burdens and folks just want to run and hide under a rock and hope for the best. Anxiety and worry really seems to be the norm today about so much of life in these human bodies...and...the thought of having a peaceful and quiet spirit...during the storms of life...well...for most folks it just dont make any sense...were “supposed” to become anxious and worry...its only natural...right? So...whats a person to to do? Well...for most of the population of planet earth...all of that is true because they are unsaved...they dont know Jesus...all they they have to depend on is themselves...a few friends and family...the world...and there really is not much dependency in all that. However...for those of us that are born-again believers..the story is dramatically different! For us...we have the One and Only God of creation living in us....yes...the very God that created the earth and heavens and every living thing lives in us through the Holy Spirit...so...who better to turn our lives, burdens, problems and the chaos and calamity of the world and everything..over to? It is by the Holy Spirit that we can always have peace in our life...and..no matter what harsh circumstances may challenge our faith...peace grounded in Christ cant be broken or shaken. Jesus said..."I" give you peace...not as the world gives you. As believers...with the Fathers sovereign all powerful hand upon His children...protecting and providing for us...what reason do we have to be afraid or fretful...why should we let worry and anxiety be more than a passing thought? What we must do is keep our eyes and our faith focused upon the Lord...always...and remember...God is always faithful in all of our circumstances of life...just because...that is who He is!
