I assume you have been following this message board for some time since you chose to post news that has been an object of some discussion, of late.
That link is quite informative and saves us from looking and signing on to various legal sites for all of the court proceedings.
Most critical and telling in this article is the silence that emanates from Calmare in this and other matters. The Board has chosen, so it seems or appears, to abdicate its fiduciary responsibility and one has to wonder, since they must have insurance that might protect them, whether the insurer may not honor the policy given some of their actions or inactions. If that were the case, all of these Board members would be hung out to dry, let alone financially responsibility.
Of course, the principal actor in this tragi-comedy is the CEO who also wears a Board hat and may be in such deep doo-doo that we may soon learn he cannot be located and has relocated to a country that has no US extradition agreement.
The lawsuit will not readily go away and, sadly, I suspect Lewis has sufficient paperwork, documents, communications to fully embalm all of these participants. Sad..........
PS If you watch this site, you might wish to ask powderbum what he thinks about this matter and other pending suits as opposed to the opioid crisi in the US and/or whether Calmare could ever become a player in that struggle.
