Role Summary:

The proposed thesis ” Design for additive manufacturing for civil engine component” will be carried out under the supervision of both an academic tutor (Politecnico of Turin) and also an Avio Aero internal tutor. The role is composed by a first period to be spent under the supervision of the Avio Aero internal tutor in order to learn to use the fundamental tools, and a secondary period dedicated to the thesis research.The whole project will be over by the end of August 2018.

Essential Responsibilities:

This activity will address the need to redesign and optimize an existing component of a civil aircraft engine taking into account the innovative capabilities of the additive manufacturing process.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Mech or Aerospace Eng Student
Good academic track record
EU work permit
Team-work & commitment
Fluency in English
Currently enrolled at a university
Good background in dynamic
