Dear Square Community,

I have a major problem and need your HELP!

On 8/23 and 9/ 9 I sold several pieces of equipment to a longtime customer and used the Square credit card processor to manage the transaction. The equipment sale was $ 26,650.00 and the Square fee was $ 732.88.

For reasons that are not clear to me, my staff or my customer, Square is holding the last four credit card orders and will not talk to us or release our funds.

The customer is very upset because I cannot release the equipment because Square has not released the funds into my account (four weeks). The funds are sitting in my Square account, not our company bank account.

The customer has been charged for the sale from Chase Bank ($ 26,650.00) and paid their visa bill in full last week. They have been charged and paid their bill in full. My customer is not the cause of the issue.

At this time, the Square customer service department is not responding to our last seven emails, holding our company funds and there is no phone number to call.

Any suggestion on what to do?

My customer needs their equipment and I will lose a valuable sale if this is not resolved in few days. My customer is going to call the SEC, Police, local paper, local TV station and Chase to report a credit card fraud.... they are very upset at my company.
