Ive said it here before that i usually dont watch the news or read newspapers. Now i dont want this to sound cold or insensitivity...but...when you think about it...pretty much the same things happen around the world every day or week or month...just to different people in different places...i just dont want to clutter up my mind with all of it and more importantly...let the world try and steal the joy, peace and contentment i enjoy each day thru my relationship with Jesus. Now...im not ignorant to what is going on in the world...i see headlines when i log onto the computer...and i hear talk about things...i just dont need details..God knows the details...i just need to pray with FAITH for His hand of blessing...healing...comfort...protection...upon whatever is happening on any particular day. With all that said...my point. As born-again believers...we know that sovereign God is in complete control at all times...there is nothing that takes Him by surprise and when we truly come to the place in our life...our relationship with our creator...and we truly look for Gods hand in Everything...we can adapt a whole different mentality about the goings on in the world and our daily life. So i was thinking this morning...with the hurricanes and earthquakes kinda sorta being the tragic topic that folks are thinking about...and thinking of Gods hand in everything...do we ever stop and think with these natural disasters...as the hurricanes make landfall and the destruction begins...can we not maybe hear God saying...here "I AM"...is your heart and life in tune with me and my Son...Can we not see that this is just another way that God is getting peoples attention and using these things to draw people to Him. I think we know...Gods 1st and foremost priority is seeing lost souls saved...in whatever way it takes...be it through a hurricane...earthquake...tornado...flood...wildfire...do we not understand that God is saying...here I come...here "I AM"..."I AM" the awesome power of the universe so take notice while there is still time and get your heart right if you want to spend eternity with Me in Heaven!...Remember...everything is sent by God or He allows it and Gods wrath can come in many forms...Think About it!
