Camping at an inland lake campground this past weekend through Tuesday... record heat the past 3 days and expected again today (mid-upper 90's). This time of year the campgrounds are usually just us "old" folks enjoying the peace and quite (kids are in school) with the typical high temps in the upper 60's...instead, it is so hot and the water is so warm, the campground was packed like mid-Summer and the sand so hot that peeps just parked it IN the water. This the the camper's private beach and the public beach on the other side of the lake was jammed packed:

4 weeks from now we could have (and have in the past) a half foot of snow on the ground... Ahaaaaaaaa Michigan..... :-\
