Medical students are introduced to this dictum early in their careers.
When a drug has been proven to have no side effects, the FDA should be able to give it a conditional, time limited, approval to be used for RWE analysis and then reconsidered for an up or down vote.......I have long felt that this would be a meritorious reform for present FDA rules......Some people might be wasting their money but a lot of people might helped to live a better life.
