You mean something like the FDA requiring a 6-8 yr $300M+ CVOT before they'll approve an utterly safe drug from being prescribed to millions for prevention of CVD? Whereas pretty much anything that targets a different marker, LDL-C, gets a free pass to do post-approval CVOTs, allowing drug sales to cover the cost of the trials.
