Do a search with your model number and see if there is a firmware update that can be utilized. If you're talking about your computer monitor, has this problem just started lately?
The monitor has possible oem drivers for it, and you might want to check your display card.

If windows sys, check display settings for any changes.

My sony bravia has a auto dim feature that is broke and wont stop dimming and sony knows but won't put out the new firmware for my monitor/tv. But has done it with other sony tv as it's a known problem.
