Great book. p53 is so deep in the pathway web of tumor suppression that in mutated form it can actually exacerbate a malignancy. It's like a foot that is either on the cancer brake or accelerator. The hope is that Kevetrin, through some swiss-army MOA, can help lift that foot off the throttle and/or stomp on the brake. Would be miraculous, frankly. I suspect the company's proposed K properties are going to prove a bit outlandish, I hope I'm wrong. But I'm pretty confident it's doing something, given the pre-clinical results.
