They are NOT patent applications and they are NOT rejected. I’m tired of educating our glowing friend here but he refuses to learn.

Provisional patents are placeholders, for 12 months or 18 depending on where the application is made. This letters he links are only opinion letters.

OWCP needs to consider these opinion letters and make completed actual patent applications addressing the comments. This is exactly what they’ve done with the recent two patent application.

Those opinion letters are meaningless. Even if they were 100% great, they do not mean OWCP is awarded the patent. Just like they do not mean the patent is rejected now.
