REGARDING XOM BUYOUT OF FCEL

It is estimate that FCEL owns 90% plus of the worldwide intellectual property related to molten carbonate fuel cells and intuitively it makes sense that ExxonMobil will want to secure an interest in the base technology at some point. FCEL’s pending new agreement with POSCO Energy might be a precursor to ExxonMobil becoming directly involved with FCEL in regard to a possible equity stake. From ExxonMobil’s perspective it would make sense that they would like FCEL to have Global Distribution Rights for all product types prior to doing so.
