As I understand it: The judge won't allow release of part of the DCR to us because some of the claims do not have a finite claim amount - they are seeking unliquidated damages. As the amount of these can't be determined until a trial or final judgement the judge can't know how much would be left after all the specific amounts claimed would be paid.

So the $5xx million less the $70 million in specific amounts claimed leaves the $4xx million as the excess reserve - but the 2 big adversary cases could end up with big settlements which is why I track those as I don't think any other claims are for unliquidated damages...
