SAFE Settings - Buy/Sell

For those of you who are willing to share, I am wondering where you keep your SAFE settings on the buy and sell sides respectively. I started some AIM accounts and am using 8% on both buy and sell with a $300 minimum sale. This seems a bit too conservative to me on the Sell side and I am seriously considering whether to lower the threshold to 5%, or maybe even 2.5%.

Here is an example, I bought IEMG at $49.98/share in July. It is now trading at $55.25. At 8% sell SAFE, I have sell advice of $575, but the market order is $0. At 5%, the numbers would be the same. At 2.5% I get a sell order of $424. It's not as though i am looking to sell, but I am really thinking that 8% is too conservative. At that rate, I would not have a sell order until the ETF reaches $57.50.

I would appreciate the thoughts of anybody who is willing to share.
