The caps premiered in Colorado in 2015 and are making into other states as they get a handle on their legalization.
While not the major focus of CNBX's work right now (ie, cancer research in Israel), it is still good news to hear that CNBX products are gaining ground in the United States. I believe Colorado, Oregon, and soon Arizona and Nevada will now be selling CNBX long release pills.
The reason this is important long term is due to human resources. Here is the deal: When I was in HR, even though beer is legal in Ohio, you could not bring it on company property, say in a cooler in the back of your truck because you planned to leave for vacation straight from work. If found with beer, a legal product, on company property, you were fired.
Marijuana is going to face the same battles. Even though states legalize MJ or MMJ, companies do not have to let you bring it to work.
However, if your MMJ is a 12 hour long release CNBX capsule, you can take it before work, and again after, and never have to bring it to work. This is not the same with GWPH's sprays that last 4 hours. You would have to somehow leave work to re-medicate every 4 hours, and of course, if the spray spills, you just poured a banned product all over your car, purse, etc, and do you drive to work, carry the purse, etc?
The CNBX victory may come in major strides as we get more results out of Israel and if a big pharma decides to buy them. But in the meantime, small strides like the pills and capsules will slowly allow CNBX to gain a foothold in MMJ. A foothold GWPH has grown into a $ 110 PPS as of today.
