Lmfao. The comparison that was made to vision centers is that mom and pop family owned stores don't really exist anymore. Had nothing to do with the price of glasses vs radiogel. Smh. The bigger ones got acquired by corporate chains and smaller ones couldn't compete and went out of business. Same in vet business. Most are affiliated with a corporate chain and they ALL ask if you want to apply for credit. I asked my local ones too and my vet asked me last month when we took our cat in. I declined the credit but it is clear they want to expand their business by teaming up with GE Capital to make sure people have the option to finance more expensive treatments. Dozens of vets in my area all extend credit.
