All NJM is saying is that New Age is offering a more mainstream tasting Yerba Mate, with much wider distribution.
For any beverage, for other than real purists (who likely would not buy any canned product!), taste is a primary factor. And since Yerba Mate is a very new beverage (to most Americans), taste will be important.
As to whether added caffeine means the Marley brand has sold out. What about the added ingredients in the Guayaki brand? None of these canned products is pure Yerba Mate-- they all have additives.
As NJM says, NBEV will roll these flavors out, with wide distribution, and see what works. The Marley brand won't hurt, that's for sure.
