And its misunderstanding or misleading to claim an incorporated subsidiary is cause for concern.

My last company was 5 incorporation in 1... with various top management (cfo, CEO, general counsel) all directors in various combinations of each.

Only the top level was publicly traded, but since they were wholly owned, all of them were owned by the public shareholders. Shenanigans never ensued.

This could not be any more normal of a situation.
