Hillary superfan Jessica Biel sued for stealing $430,000 in tips from restaurant employees

Birds of a grifter-feather flock together. Just ask actress Jessica Biel, a Hillary Clinton superfan.

Biel — a Hollywood moonbat who pays lip service to social justice and championing the poor — is being sued for allegedly stealing $430,100 in tips from low-wage workers at the Los Angeles kids’ restaurant she co-owns.

Biel and her business partners at Au Fudge restaurant are accused of withholding almost a half a million dollars in tips and for stealing $31,459 in “missed rest breaks” from their employees.

Nine current and former restaurant staffers are also suing Biel and her partners for $1 million in punitive damages, The Wrap reported. Au Fudge makes most of its money from hosting lavish private events around Hollywood, where customers are automatically charged a 22% gratuity.

Instead of sharing the tips (totaling $430,1000) with its workers, Biel and her five partners allegedly pocketed the cash.

“Each of the plaintiffs had their gratuities wrongfully converted and were improperly denied meal and rest breaks, overtime compensation, and earned wages under various illegal payroll practices,” according to the lawsuit, which was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court this week.

The complaint continued:

Defendants charged hundreds of thousands of dollars in gratuities to private-party customers and converted said gratuities to themselves in order to pad their own pockets and deprive plaintiffs their just compensation in violation of law.

Plaintiffs were told they were entitled to receive compensatory gratuities directly from customers, including those customers who booked large private parties or events (such as Amazon, Netflix and Fox Studios).

Alexandra Desage, a former events director at Au Fudge, stated in a deposition that every private-event customer was misled into believing the tips would go directly to the employees who worked the event, and not the restaurant’s wealthy owners.

This is because the customers were more likely to be okay with the automatic 22% gratuity Au Fudge adds to its bill when they think it’s going to low-wage restaurant employees.

Desage alleged that when she told one of her managers that the workers were not getting paid the tips they were owed, the manager waved her off.

Jessica Biel, who’s married to singer Justin Timberlake, has not yet responded to the lawsuit. In August 2016, Biel and Timberlake hosted a $33,400-a-ticket fundraiser at their Los Angeles mansion for their hero, Hillary Clinton. The event raised $3.34 million that night for the two-time failed presidential candidate.

Biel joins a growing list of Hollywood hypocrites who say one thing in public and do another in private. One glaring example is actress Alyssa Milano, who has repeatedly slammed President Trump as a fraud.

Meanwhile, Milano is broke as a joke, didn’t pay her taxes, and stiffed her employees, according to a lawsuit filed against her in July.

Similarly, anti-Trump actor George Clooney has urged Europe to take in as many Muslim refugees as possible while he quietly moves his family back to the United States, citing security concerns in terrorism-ravaged Britain.

And just last month, leftist celebrities called for a boycott of the NFL because no football team wants to hire mediocre quarterback Colin Kaepernick, whose only claim to fame is refusing to stand for the national anthem.

Many in Hollywood praised Kaepernick’s unpatriotic gesture as a brave act of “political activism.” Meanwhile, Colin did not even bother to vote in the 2016 presidential election. Keep in mind that the operative word in activism is ACT. Not sit.
