Figured there was a friendship tie-in

Considering how Pringle handed LIBE over to Conway and the way that the directorships changed hands to a couple of unknowns, I'm not surprised that there was a "friends" angle.

So far, O'Brien and Silverman have presided over multiple failures by Conway, and I doubt that this time will be different.

It will be interesting to see how many shares are added via dilution before the financials of the deal come out and we see the voting/conversion rights of the Series B Preferred shares.
