Just wondering ---

Wouldn't it make more sense to announce the increased buy-back first (now) and then in a couple of weeks announce an increase in dividend?

Wouldn't a price spike in the share price occur with a buyback?

Wouldn't a price spike in the share price occur with an increase in dividend?

SO, wouldn't both announcements at the same time result in a much higher price on shares repurchased versus one announcement at a time?

UNLESS they might declare a special dividend at the end of the year.

We shall see whether a spike in price per share holds on or whether it disappears in time.
