And where would the company get the money to do this? He's probably in a better cash position than Destiny. I think dilution here is inevitable.

Also, they gave him 40K shares on the way out.

I'm guessing that since they put him on probation for about a week before he was terminated that they looked for cause, then, and found it. Remember that they gave Borland a big promotion 3 weeks before he was fired, so this company's personnel moves have always been an opaque mystery.
