You better hope its not a bank deal in Florida. If people have money in that back they will be taking it out to rebuild there homes. If they owe money and don't come back they will be walking away from mortgages owed.
The clean up will take time people living paycheck to paycheck will lose there properties and there jobs. While businesses will take some time to re establish themselves. Tourism will drop off. So unless Amazon or Microsoft donate Billions of dollars to people who don't or can't get house insurance to rebuild. This is a massive expense the government and insurance companies can't afford. Even the power company may have to file bankruptcy. When they don't receive payment for electric & natural gas bills. Companies can't run with no income to pay bills. This disaster in Texas & Florida is going to be something to watch closely. The utility company will be shelling out massive amount of money in overtime 12 hour days at time and 1/2 to double time and police departments same thing a limited amount of people will make big pay checks off of this disaster. Tobad the mass of people who need it won't share in this.
So in my opinion buying a bank in Florida is a failure right from the get go.
I feel sorry for the people in Texas & Florida and I pray for them that depression doesn't get the best of them. After all we are only human. I wish I could come down and help but can't be worry about my wife and grand children and daughter while being away it breaks my heart not be able to help.
