thank you for this info LJ re; Euro model link...updates publicly about 1:00 pm Est and 1:00 am Est. https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/analysis/models/?model=ecmwf®ion=us&pkg=z500_mslp&runtime=2017090812&fh=0&xpos=0&ypos=332 If you access the link, on the right are tabs to tap to get the model to go to 24 hr, 48 hr. etc ahead... Not sure how often they update for paid payers or weather services... GFS model updates at about 5:00 am, 11:00 am, 5:00 pm, and 11:00 pm Est... Don't have that link... Nightly 11:00 pm est NHC update would had new GFS run and at 1:00 am est should have new Euro model run included... Fluid situation though and models depend on new data and take time to run new data... Around 11:00 pm est, the hurricane hunters were completing Irma flyover that will have new info with Cuba contact... So, new model runs released about 5:00 am est on Saturday will show newer data and could by 1:00 pm Saturday publicly by Euro... So it shows the fluid interaction of data needed and time for model runs to forcast a big hurricane... All info accumulated on a best task basis but may be off on anything... So heeding warnings and hoping for data that improves things is the common sense approach...LJ
