The price of sugar will maybe go up;

Not only could the storm damage sugar crops and add upside support, it could impact gasoline and ethanol prices. Higher gasoline prices encourage ethanol blending. Ethanol can be produced from sugar cane, and higher ethanol prices result in farmers dedicating more of their cane to ethanol production at the expense of sugar.



I dunno, but I remember that putting sugar into a gas tank was a very bad idea.

Except for some stupid asshole who deserved it....
