Why try and compete with leafly or weedmaps when they can give away the same thing for free and still be pulling in 7 figures a month.

Precisely because they have the luxury of doing that.

There's a lot more here than meets the eye. I agree that, near term, the action and revenues will be in construction, cultivation, CBD and don't forget the new cannabis supply division and VitaCig. Investors need to look at software as a long term investment that will take at least one or two years to reach maturity. Patience could provide mCig with some huge revenues and profits in the future.

Massroots has spent 250k a month on marketing and development since going public and they keep going lower and lower and lower.

You use Mass Roots as an example. It simply shows that you can throw a lot of money into an effort without getting the results you want. What Mass Roots doesn't have...

1.) A world class programming team that has demonstrated the ability to produce software (MegaUpload) that is both profitable and scalable to a large enterprise and millions of users. MegaUpload served 50 million users/day on over 6,500 servers and generated over a quarter billion dollars in advertising and subscription revenues.

2.) Multiple applications to attract business and consumers including jobsearch (420Jobsearch.com), scalable email mass marketing software (marketero.com), a well organized news site with links to over two dozen categories of MJ news as well as streaming cannabis and music radio (weedistry.com), MJ sector financial services including credit card processing (tueroprocessing.com/), user engaging applications including a dating service, blogs, games and tokens that can be traded for prizes and products which act to bring users back to the service (420Cloud), integrated shopping services that won't just be limited to MJ products (420 Tienda), a mobile wallet to store cash and, to top things off all apps and websites are accessible from a single sign on.

3,) Synergistic corporate diversification with MJ construction and consulting services, MJ supplies, CBD sales, VitaCig and product sales websites providing profits and revenues while the software division matures as well as being sources for news articles and additional users.

4.) mCig has patents pending on their relevance algorithm and their method for locating and targeting users for ads. They will probably be the first MJ company to incorporate big data technologies in their advertising network. They plan to make their software available to other companies outside the sector for licensing.

From their recent 10-K...

In addition to the services provided above to the cannabis community, our unique mobile wallet capabilities and single-sign on features has been instrumental in MCIG incorporating Tuero Capital, Inc., where it will feature some form of exchange service and payment processing service for the cannabis community. The Company continues to develop these programs, securing its intellectual property where it deems necessary.

Competitive Strengths

The Company believes its competitive strengths lie in its personnel and in its proprietary processes. We have engaged several key programmers for the development and upkeep of our 420Cloud community. In addition, we have developed two unique processes in how we transfer data and information that we believe will have a revolutionary effect on not just the cannabis community, but social media in general. We will continue to develop these processes and secure our intellectual property rights prior to disclosure.

As I said, we're only seeing the tip of the iceberg right now.
