I feel your pain, Sir! I truly do.
We've all been there with specific, individual holdings, but it's the sector that I'm more focused on with respect to IWSY's share price.
ISIS, al Qaeda, Boku Haram, al Shibab, Abu Sayef, ANTIFA, BLM, Chinese nationals just recently caught inside a tunnel on the U.S./Mexican border the other day... Our enemies are quite intelligent & crafty, AND they are more determined than ever to take us down. Shared information (with other bad guys), and advanced communication systems in order to survive and advance their cause, are the new norm. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
VISG had some of the 9/11 players in their database, however... Logan International Airport had not yet deployed their technology, thus the travesty of that morning was not prevented. My point: This is years later. Surely the NSA, DIA, and FBI are mandating access to, blue sky monitoring, and/or compiling all B.F.R. databases and clouds. With biometrics in general basically pretty much being our last line of defense, I see value here.
The odds of IWSY going bank are small in my opinion. To be quite frank: I would expect this company to get a tender offer long before that ever happened. And could that remotely explain the price suppression? The 5 year chart shows no real booster rocket underneath IWSY. A heavy short position, it was mentioned??? Well they've pretty much milked it, unless the shorts are hanging on for the sub 1 dollar trading range notification from the NASD.
For eight (8) straight days IWSY traded in the red... Now, finally, it's up 2 cents on the day. The +.02 put it right back in the center of the Bollinger Band squeeze play. They've been trying to pull it down to the lower band (and hold it there for a southernly slide), but buyers keep propping it up.
The price has got to make a move sometime soon. Those constricting bands will not allow the current trading range to continue.
