Thanks F6, you are the iHub guru, LOL! The water got above that ladder that is sticking out of the water about 4 inches, but it has receded about 6 inches today. I think our spillway is probably obstructed somewhat by debris. I am not worried about our house being flooded, as the main floor is above the level of the dam. Fortunately, we have not lost electricity as we have several times in past hurricanes for extended periods of time (11 days Alicia). Our greatest fear is high winds and/or tornados, and I think we are dodging that bullet this time. F6 knows more than anyone what damage high wind can do... our red oaks just couldn't stand the strain with this saturated soil... and they are huge and heavy.
