If This is Winter Why is PALL Doing so Well?

PALL is much more of an industrial metal than PPLT so in winter, with an economic slowdown, PPLT would be out performing PALL, but the opposite is happening.

It appears currently that industrial metals (including red hot copper) are leading currencies, which are leading bonds, which are leading stocks.

I'm at a full 1% in PALL and don't see that changing soon. Yesterday I moved from 1% => 2% EEM which favors higher commodity prices and a weaker dollar/yen.
