Well, we're not going to be that far south. The old family farm is located a little northeast of DuQuoin in basically the middle of nowhere. Expecting about about a minute forty of totality there.

If I could pick a spot it would be Alto Pass, under the Cross. But to get there you have to follow a long winding single lane gravel road. With the crowds they are expecting the logistics would not be practical.
