The oligarchy also has their tentacles around the Libertarian/Tea Party movement, because they like the austerity aspect, which is deceptively cloaked around the traditional idea of 'limited government'. So the Libertarians, who philosophically oppose the oligarchy, have walked into a trap. Their movement has been co-opted.
