They are getting nothing in return. They are helping every playoff team out, and trading away guys now for the infamous player to be named later. and when they did get players they got crappy returns. There is not a plan here other then to dump money. hopefully they reinvest in the offseason, they should, but if they do what e-ore says they might as well just trade their pitchers and rebuild in the offseason.
