Keep your eye on the ball. The only thing that matters at this time will occur in the Federal Circuit's Clerk of Court Office. As of the close of business yesterday there was no new filing.

From my perspective worrying about the future of GERS is absolutely futile. KK is GERS; he can and will do whatever he wants with the windfall, when it finally arrives. His flights of fantasy are his hallmark. He might take all of the proceedings (after paying-off C&C and YAGI) and invest it in a cannabis factory. Looking for what might become of GERS beyond the time that the windfall becomes a reality is quite some kaleidoscope. There will likely be a narrow window after the announcement of the windfall (either through settlement or final court adjudication) before the money is in KK's hands to make many important decisions.
