I assume you mean that different brokers charge differently in such cases...? I stated my broker is etrade. As you pointed out to me, the whole idea of this is unfair & hated by you, me & I'm sure many others, so a ripoff is a ripoff, and apparently your broker is a lower priced ripoff than mine. I think that back in early April, when this occurred, I think the pps was at a level that was several times less, in total for my meager number of shares, than the $38 they blindly robbed me for. In other words, they took $38 from my acct, w/o me having any idea, and then, w/the split, left me w/a total value of something like 5 or 10 bucks. (I'd have to go look into it to see the actual amt but it was something like that). Can anybody explain how such a thing is justifiable? How could the sec condone this? I'm gonna write them because if I call on phone, I'll be very angry & probably wind up regretting it. Numerous folks here insist this ceo & company is a big scam & it sure looks that way with the performance seen in last few yrs. Yet the sec does nothing & then, after buying the stock & seeing it plummet & stay down for a long time, they (sec) allow brokers to secretly rip off money from people's accts monies that are more than a low level stock holder value of their position.??? Sad state of affairs.
