That was not the initial selling/buying. It was some people who bought on momentum expectations, selling, followed by a lack of substantial news. Add to that, anyone who understands markets would have seen that, without regular significant news, it was bound to retrace since it ran up so quickly.

But with this level of support and that position having being absorbed, the upcoming news flow expected to carry through the fall we will not likely see a similarly volatile market. On the positive side some posters here got some discounted stock that they never would have otherwise!
