The spectacle of the gay Austrian Nazi leader Jörg Haider, who died in a car wreck coming home from a gay bar after having an argument with his partner, former Nazi MP Stefan Petzner, is still something right-wing Austrians find hard to process or simply reject as lies - at least for those Nazis who are not gay themselves. As a group, Nazis, like many "true believers" tend to employ a lot of compartmentalization.
