Good post Nat.... you picked up on the same points that I was going to highlight. Now we're starting to see a calculated defensive movement....
the attempted justification for taking the money from MSX;
the warning that no money will be paid back to MSX;
that any monetary awards should be owed to JRL only;
that the reason for MSX going belly up was Barrick, the BCSC, & the TSX;
the assertion that everything was done "above board".
Add to that the insinuation that "even if" the Tesoros injunction is lifted (which it will be), it doesn't matter.
To borrow newgold's phrase... things are going to get really interesting. With MSX defunct, and BJ on the threshold of a possible ban from the public markets, the door is almost wide open for JRL to pursue his litigious campaign all on his own... without MSX, or BJ, or the former shareholders to account for.
The gravy train has dried up, so it's time to start quietly tidying up and getting ready to move on.
