No, folks should have seen this coming. PRLB was one of the first to report and while the market didn't pay much notice, top-line growth for the company was just 10% for the first half of '17. Not good enough.

If that wasn't enough, DDD getting taken to the woodshed after its report should have indicated that the headwinds out there are likely hitting (or about to hit) everyone.

Significant cost-cutting going on everywhere. Little left in corporate budgets for 3D purchases or support services.
