Why would Barrick have anything to lose? The courts have recently confirmed that the resolution to lift the injunction is enforceable, and ownership of the Tesoros concessions will imminently transfer from CMN's agent Hector Unda Llanos to CMN.

I imagine that Barrick will undoubtedly do whatever it deems beneficial for their shareholders... maybe they'll have another stab at developing the Pascua Lama project, maybe they'll sell a stake in it and partner up, maybe they'll sell all of it. Whatever.

The point is, MSX is kaput and it won't be resurrected. It's just a matter of seeing what penalties will be levied against whoever was responsible for it's needless demise. IMO... that will happen sooner than later.
