here is the scoop. one the first day of Trading Twedd under TWD there was a lot of intrest from the US side. On that day if you bought on day one you had to convert your currency to buy TWD. The very next day there was a lot of TWD shares in US brokerage accounts. The US brokers created a symbol to TWMJF so that US investors did not need to convert their currency if they choose not to. You still have the choice to buy TWMJF or WEED if you want to convert currency. Otherwise they make it easier to just buy TWMJF.. Its a complete match. I guess on the off days in Canada there is enough TWMJF shares to be traded amongst US investors thatthere is still a market. But the outstanding shares and float are the same. hope thuis explains it to you.
