Heres my theory about the drop. Whenever there is a big drop and everyone is selling off for whatever reason, all the buyers dry up. The MMs then have to buy those shares and hold them until the price goes up and they can dump them and get them off their books. They then do whatever they can to drive the price up. In this case not enough buyers seemed interested and volume started drying up. I believe MMs dropped the price to create some interest again so they can get the price up and unload those shares they had to buy. As long as there is no more bad news, stocks like this can be good moneymakers.

All this is something I learned from an old MM and it has proved to be profitably enough for me, to play the gaps. Gaps down I buy and gaps up, I short (for the bigger stocks).

Know where the MM wants to go and be there waiting.
