Are we supposed to be impressed? This has taken 14 months of state inertia to arrive at a period of yet more 'public comment and review'. How many more times can the 'public' (aka enviro activists) usefully contribute to this project? It took over a decade to get the EIS agreed. During that period, Cherry worked hand in glove with Landwehr of the DNR. The EIS was the basis for the permit applications, so why the incredible period of inactivity with regard to permitting? What is Cherry doing to push Landwehr? We get nothing from the Company. Same, with regard to the various lawsuits. Why are we still waiting for a written judgement almost 4 months downstream from the Water Legacy hearing? In addition, why were the three obviously frivolous suits of a week ago not instantly dismissed? No wonder the pps is going nowhere.
