After digesting the numbers for Q2 and looking a bit closer at the financials, it appears that the low revenue number in Q1 of $6.0 million and the high revenue number in Q2 of $10.2 million reflects the timing of orders.

As John Fieldly pointed out on a previous conference call, the ordering patterns from distributors can oftentimes push revenues out to a future quarter.

It seems like that may have been the case in Q2 and why the number was so large. Perhaps an order that would have normally fallen in Q1 actually wound up being realized in Q2 instead?

It will be interesting to see if the Q3 number falls back again, or continues higher.

It would be nice to see some consistency in the quarterly revenue numbers, instead of the up and down pattern of the past.
