Is this a similar technology to what 5barz has?
From what I have been reading, this technology has been around for years outside of 5barz.

MIMO

MIMO is short for ‘multiple input, multiple output’ which is an antenna technology for wireless communications. As part of this technology, two or more transmitters and receivers are used to send and receive more data at once. The antennas are then combined to minimize errors and optimize data speed.

The technology works well under conditions of interference, signal fading, and multipath. Recently, Sprint and Samsung tested MIMO technology in South Korea.

Massive MIMO

Massive MIMO takes the concept of MIMO to a new level by placing dozens of antennas on a single array. With massive MIMO, future 5G networks will be able to carry more data onto the same amount of spectrum
As part of exploring massive MIMO, Ericsson had announced they'd be shipping 64 antenna systems in 2017.

Huawei, ZTE, Vodafone, Samsung, Sprint and Ericsson are actively working towards testing and leveraging this technology for faster data speeds and low latency.
