I doubt you'll find anything in that document about updating the public on enrollment numbers. My guess is that the IRB approved and FDA reviewed study protocol had language about when enrollment numbers would be made public. This was NOT an FDA requirement but is now a study requirement because it was included in the IRB approved study. Releasing data early would be a deviation from the protocol and would cause scrutiny from the IRB and could possibly lead to delays. This was 100% the companies choice and their horrible CRO. Doug isn't lying he's just being crafty with his words at this point.
